Nose:

Very rich raisin sweetness, prune, banana chips, almost syrup-like similar to PX, caramel and caramelised berries, beneath the sweetness spices like marjoram, thyme, oregano, mugwort and gingerbread

Taste:

Booom – the whisky strikes like a bomb. Not as sweet as in the nose, more hearty like a freshly baked rye bread, sprinkling tannins of the European oak on the tongue, aromas of wet tobacco leaves, marshmellows over bonfire

Finish:

Dry on the palate, tobacco and roasted notes, at last a little sweetness again
