German Single Malt Whisky, 45%vol


The Nine Springs Single Malt Whisky with it’s velvety and fruity notes is the flagship of the Number Nine Spirituosenmanufaktur. It is distilled from three varieties of barley. For maturation three cask types ar used - American Virgin Oak, Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Bordeaux casks.

All bottles are single singned with batch number and bottle number.

Handbottled, not coloured, non-chill filtered.
 

Colour:

Reddish golden with copper hues

Nose:

Very malty, ripe fruit with peach and prune, slightly spicy like cloves and cardamom, much vanilla and some dark chocolate

Taste:

Vibrant spicy start, intense notes of dried fig, pleasing toasted notes of cocoa beans, gentle sweetness

Finish:

Full-bodied with a slightly bitter tannine structure, spicy notes lingering on the palate
