Conde de Cuba

Conde de Cuba

In the IX Century, rum became a quality and valued drink. Distilleries and brands emerged with the support of the Spanish crown. Cuba was the birthplace of rum.

Cuba also produces a lighter, crisper rum than elsewhere in the Caribbean thanks to a request from the Spanish Crown, which preferred its spirits delicate in flavor.

Conde de Cuba rum is harvested, distilled, aged and bottled in a little town with no more than 2.000 people from the province of Las Tunas, in Amancio Rodriguez, south east of Cuba, a land whose climate is ideal for the cultivation of the 100% autochthonous sugar cane “medialuna”.

The whole integral system is situated in the plantation, including the sugar company to obtain the honey, the distillery, the Ron Sevilla Factory and the cellar.

All this process is reflected on the different labels, letting this range of products become special.

The sugar plantation was located on the banks of the Sevilla River, one of the most important rivers in the country. Seville, the famous port city from south of Spain, has been always linked to Cuba since colonial times.
