Gold Cock Single Malt Whisky 1995 has been maturing since 1995 and has therefore experienced the move from the Dolany Distillery to the premises of Rudolf Jelinek in Vizovice.

The base of the Single Malt Whisky is Moravian barley malt prepared in the Bruntal malt house, where the production of Gold Cock started in the 1970s. The malt whisky is specially prepared by smoking peat from St. Sebastian Mountain.
The whiskey is stored in sessile oak barrels, the most common in the Czech Republic, which hold between 270 and 300 litres. The barrels were heavily charred when they were first filled. Gold Cock whisky has been aged in barrels traditionally made by Moravian coopers.

Tasting notes:

The aroma starts very sweet with rum, then becoming fruity, mainly orange. It has a strong, woody taste, in the end very long, warm and dry.

Producer: Rudolf Jelinek a.s., Razov 472, 763 12 Vizovice, Ceska Republika
