Inchmurrin 18 years is unpeated, non chill filtered, no artificial colouring. It is matured mostly in bourbon barrels for quicker and consistent maturation, a % of these being dechar/rechar barrels supplied by Loch Lomond’s cooperage.

Inchmurrin is distilled at Loch Lomond Distillery but is distinctly different from Loch Lomond single malt. Inchmurrin is fermented using different yeasts. And as a consequence of using the special sprit still with 13 bubble cap distillation trays and a water cooled dephlegmator Inchmurrin has a very different middle cut to Loch Lomond single malt.

silky smooth layered textured mouth feel. A sensational cocktail of lemon, orange, melon, lychee, pear and maple syrup with a hint of ginger. Layer upon layer of fruit, cereal and hazelnut. A classic fruit and nut and spice whisky that will quickly become a cult classic among single malts for those in the know. |
