For over ten years Glenrothes has been producing nothing but vintages. The Select Reserve is a first. It was created to show a ‘house style’ and a manifestation of the unique distillery character. A non-Vintage-specific selection carefully chosen by Malt Master John Ramsey and produced to the same high quality standards as The Glenrothes Vintage selections. Only here the whisky is selected and vatted from casks from different years.
Laden with ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and hints of spice, the Select Reserve is the essence, the very heart of The Glenrothes range in terms of taste and flavour. From this expression all other Vintages are born.
