Rhöntropfen is a famous cordial from Meiningen (Thuringia), Germany. It has been manufactered there since 1877. Formerly it allayed discomnforts on tours with stagecoaches, today it allayes just because as well. It is distilled from herbs that stimulate the appetite and assist disgestion. There is a long tradition of making herbal liqueurs in the Central German Uplands. The sign Rhöntropfen is cult in East Germany. The label is the same as it was before the political change.

Für mich geschmacklich immer noch der beste deutsche Kräuterlikör. Von den anderen Alternativen ganz zu schweigen. Schön, dass man ihn über das Internet bestellen kann, wenn man außerhalb Thüringens wohnt.

Ich habe mehrfach versucht 2 Flaschen Rhöntropfen zu bestellen.Weder Kauf auf Rechnung noch auf Kreditkarte noch Abbuchung waren möglich. Meine Anfrage per E-Mail wurde mit dem Hinweis bearbeitet, dassPaypal dafür zuständig sei. So ist der Einkauf nicht zustande gekommen und ich habe mir die Rhöntropfen anderweitig besorgt.
Insgesamt war ich sehr enttäuscht.
