Pampero Aniversario was first crafted in 1963 to commemorate the Pampero company’s 25th anniversary. The rum is a blend of rums ranging in maturity from four to six years, made in continuous stills and aged in whisky and bourbon barrels.

Pampero Aniversario is a dark rum, full and rich, very fruity, on the palate leather and bitter tobacco with a touch of vanilla, beautiful balanced by brown sugar.

Pampero is one of the most famous rums from Venezuela. The distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernandez. Hernandez original recipe introduced a distillation process unique to Venezuela. And Hernandez harvested the finest sugar cane only in the incredibly humid dry season, to produce a smoother cut of alcohol. This alcohol blended with the local Carbonero spring water creates set the standard for rum production in Venezuela, and is proudly the first rum to be accredited ‘Anejo’ by the Venezuelan government.
