Spiced Rum, 40%vol
Kraken Rum was introduced in 2010. It is named after the kraken, a mythical giant squid-like sea monster.
The base for Kraken Rum is sugar cane molasses from the shores of the Virgin Islands, near Puerto Rico. The molasses is fermented and distilled in pot stills. Then the rum is aged for 24 months in oak barrels, bevore it is flavoured with 13 selected spices like cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
The colour of the liquid is black with brown hues, the taste is strong, rich and smooth.
Coloured with caramel.
