Rum, Philippines, 43%vol
Don Papa 10 year old is a premium aged small batch rum from the isle of Negros Occidental, the Philippines. Distilled from some of the finest sugar cane in the world, it is then aged in re-charred casks made of American Oak, from where it got its fine vanilla and oak notes. The angels share, the part which is evoparating during maturation, is very high at the Philippines. That makes the matured rum extremely dark and high concentrated.
For perfect enjoyment Don Papa 10 year old is bottled at 43%vol strength.
Negros Occidental is and has always been the sugar capital of the Philippines. Due to the perfect combination of climate, geography and the rich volcanic soil on the island, Negros is ideally suited for sugar cane production.

Ich dachte schon ich bekomme gar keine Flasche der heiss begehrten Sonderabfüllung, doch hier bin ich fündig geworden, echt super, DANKE BEOWEIN...
Nun mal zu dem Rum...
der Don Papa in der "Standart Ausführung" war ja schon super, aber der 10 Jährige ist echt klasse, er ist reif gewurden, fast schon erwachsen und ist nun auch was für den "erfahrenen" rum kenner ;-)
