German Single Malt Whiskey, 43%vol


Like all Slyrs whiskeys, Slyrs Bavarian Peat is traditionally gently distilled from regional raw materials. However, the Bavarian Peat is the only one based on malted barley kilned over a peat fire and mountain spring water from the Bavarian Alps. The peated whiskey is expressive and has smoky roasted aromas that are perfectly balanced with notes of vanilla, pear and salty caramel.
 

Colour:

Intense amber

Nose:

Damp earth and moss. Spicy roasted aromas, slightly sweet with notes of dried pepper and cardamom.

Taste:

Peaty, earthy smoky notes. Tobacco, sweet dried fruit, pear and dark chocolate

Finish:

Long-lasting, with subtle notes of vanilla, lemon and salty caramel.
