Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 43%vol


Like all Kentucky Straight Bourbons from Jim Beam the Double Oak matures in new, toasted oak barrels at first. Then it gets a second maturing period in a second new and toasted oak barrel. The intense contact to the wood gives the whiskey exceptional depth and perfect balanced tasting nuances. An intens and compolex but well balanced bourbon.
 

Nose:

Fine vanilla and a hint of toasted wood

Taste:

Oak aromas with sweet notes of caramel and toffee

Finish:

Balanced with a distinctive, lingering oak note
