Finlaggan Eilean Mor is a small batch bottling from The Vintage Malt Whisky Company. With 46%vol it is bottled with a higher alcohol content than Finlaggan Old Reserve.
On the island of Islay lies Loch Finlaggan, a place of great importance in Scottish history. In the loch there are three islands, one of which is Eilean Mor (large island).
Finlaggan Eilean Mor is a peaty distillation from one of Islay’s finest distilleries. The independent bottler The Vintage Malt Whisky Company distributes and bottles the brand. It is part of the agreement between bottler and distillery, from where the casks are bought, that the name of the distillery has to be kept as a secret.

Although there is no distillery at Finlaggan Castle, this ancient home of the “Lord of the Isles” lends its name to one of the islands finest malt whiskies. The name of the distillery is a secret of the independent bottler The Vintage Malt Whisky Company.
