Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 50%vol


This celebration whisky was made from three first-fill ex-bourbon casks, hand selected by master distiller Shane Fraser. The casks were laid down in wolfburn distillery’s first year of production and have been brought together to create just 1440 very special bottles to mark the 10th anniversary of Alba Import, the regular German importer for Wolfburn.

Bottled exclusively from cask numbers 446, 447 and 449, laid down in July 2013. Bottled in July 2017. Aged four years.

No colouring, no chill filtration
 

Nose:

Straight rich white chocolate, banana and vanilla

Taste:

Powerful and intense with clover honey, citrus creme, bourbon vanilla and spices like ginger, some alspice and cloves

Finish:

Long lingering and mouthfilling with again white chocolate
