Sierra Tequila Silver is a crystal-clear, hot-blooded tequila with a purity of flavour to equal the mildness and delicacy of its character. It is served neat (with salt and lemon) or with beer, in cocktails or long drinks, including such world-famous compositions as Margarita and Sunrise, as well as in different variations of frozen tequila drinks, e.g. Frozen Margarita.

Tequila, Mexico’s national drink, is produced in accordance with the stringent laws of the Mexican government exclusively from the hearts of a special species of agave, the blue agave known as “Tequilana Weber”. Only one distillate, which is produced from this special species of agave and comes from the precisely demarcated cultivation area, Jalisco Province, is authorised to bear the “Tequila” mark of origin. This agave from which tequila is made grows at an altitude of 1500 to over 2000 metres around Guadalajara, the capital of Jalisco Province, and therefore is called the tequila capital. It takes 8 to 10 years for the high-quality blue agave plants to ripe and be ready for harvesting. The hearts are double-distilled in the typical copper stills (alambiques) according to a traditional method, the pot still technique. Origin and production are subject to the strict supervision of the Consejo Regulador del Tequila A.C. Only destilerias complying with the strict regulations governing quality and origin are granted their individual control numbers – the Número de Orígen Mejicano and Denominación de Orígen Tequila.
