It was in 1823 when Hartwig Kantorowicz attented a competition for the best polish vodkas. The president of the jury shoutet “Wyborowa” (= delicious) when tasting his vodka. So Kantorowicz decided to call his spirit Wyborowa. In 1927 it was the first vodka in the world to register its name as a trademark internationally. Until today Wyborova’s success and popularity continues both in Poland and in the whole world.
