Oldesloer Kümmel is the famous caraway schnapps from Holstein, Germany. It has been originally inspired by the Danish aquavits. Schleswig-Holstein was a part of the Danish kingdom until 1864.

Oldesloer Kümmel is distilledfrom caraway seed and other spices. It is best served chilled at 5-7°C in a frozen glass. Oldesloer Kümmel goes well with rich dishes and with beer.
