Elijah Craig Small Batch replaces Elijah Craig 12 Year Old. Because of the increasing demand producer Heaven Hill decided to add younger casks to ensure availability in the future. Elijah Craig is now matured for 8 to 12 years.

In 1789, Rev. Elijah Craig became the Father of Bourbon by being the first to age his whiskey in a charred oak barrel. Today, this legacy lives on in this bottle, a “small batch” Bourbon before that term was even invented. Winner of Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Championships and named Whisky Magazine’s “best of the best” premium Bourbon, its heritage is surpassed only by its reputation.
 

Colour:

Sparkling golden brown

Nose:

Hints of hay and leather, but also orange and vanilla

Palate:

mellow and fruity body with hints of caramel, dates and oak

Finish:

Long and warming
