Single Malt Irish Whiskey, 48%vol

 


This Irish Single Malt has been aged for 11 years in American oak casks and finished for 3 in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. Knochnarea is the second expression from Athru and an exceptional single malt.

As with all Athrú First Editions it is limited to 6,600 uniquely numbered bottles, crafted and curated by Billy Walker. It tells the old Celtic Myth of Noah’s granddaughter, Lady Kessair.

Light Chestnut

Nose:

Fresh Laundry, Pencils, Sandalwood, and Cedar

Taste:

Raisins, Brown Sugar, Mince Pies and Caramel

Finish:

Pepper and Cigar box medium length.
