Glendalough

The Glendalough Irish Whiskey Company was established in 2011. Set up by five Dublin and Wicklow friends whose passion for the Irish drinks industry led them to start Ireland’s first craft distillery. The aim of Glendalough Distillery is to recapture Ireland’s lost heritage of great spirit production and create new, exciting and contemporary brands.
The maritime climate on the east coast of Ireland provides perfect aging conditions for single malt Irish whiskey. After spending a long time getting to know some first fill bourbon casks the Glendalough team carefully selected a small number of these casks that best represented the full, rounded and smooth flavour of an Irish single malt. It was cut with Wicklow spring water to 46% and bottled without chill filtration to maintain all the taste and character that is synonymous with Glendalough Irish Whiskey.
