Black Tears

Black tears captures the spirit of old and new cuba. It’s crafted and pressed using traditional methods at the paraíso destilería in sancti spíritus, known for making fabulous cuban rum. The founder's father shared the Cuban passion for rum and music by singing the heartbreaking love song ‘Lagrimas Negras’ with the seasonal caribbean workers at his sugar plantation. So they shared with him a tradition of their own – mixing coffee and spices with rum. The smell of sugar was the scent of Cuba for generations, the rum produced was the taste.
