Ron Pampero Añejo Selección 1938 is a rich rum with a subtle sweetness. Distinct are aromas of vanilla, cocoa and dark toffee. The year 1938 in the name relates to the founding year of the distillery.

Añejo Selección 1938 is made of molasses and matured in white oak barrels. It as a mature rum of dark amber colour, which is best served neat at room temperature. But it even enriches exclusive cocktails with it’s rich flavours.

Pampero is one of the most famous rums from Venezuela. The distillery was founded by Alejandro Hernandez. Hernandez original recipe introduced a distillation process unique to Venezuela. And Hernandez harvested the finest sugar cane only in the incredibly humid dry season, to produce a smoother cut of alcohol. This alcohol blended with the local Carbonero spring water creates set the standard for rum production in Venezuela, and is proudly the first rum to be accredited ‘Anejo’ by the Venezuelan government.
