Raspberry Spirit from Alsace, 45%vol
Like all fruits with a low sugar content, raspberries must first be macerated. The alcohol used in that process can only be eau de vie made from wine. To make Framboise, regulations require that 8 kg of raspberries are used to produce a single litre of final product. Like Poire Williams, Framboise should be served chilled but not ice cold. The liqueur produced has great delicacy and a wide range of uses.
