The creation of Havana Club Máximo Extra Anejo has been a unique adventure and personal odyssey of patience and faith but also a cultural journey through Cuban rum making history and tradition. It is handcrafted by blending the finest and oldest rum reserves that have been left to age in Havana Club cellars in respect of the genuine tradition of Cuban rum-making. This unique and patient process makes very rare the reserves used and Havana Club Máximo a very limited edition of only 1000 bottles a year.

Havana Club Máximo Extra Añejo is enshrined within an elegant crystal decanter, allowing its vibrant amber glow to shine through. The graceful lines of the decanter are inspired by the traditional decorative arts of Havana, renowned for their elegance and detailing. Havana Club Máximo Extra Añejo is the purest expression of this refinement. Each decanter is individually hand-blown and numbered by a master glassmaker, an attention to detail that a rum as exceptional as Havana Club Máximo deserves.
 

Colour:

An impressive, deep dark amber brightness bears witness to the long and natural maturing.

Nose:

Extraordinary rich, intense, lingering but subtle aroma. Unmatched complexity. Balanced oak aromas, smoky with a fine note of pear, coconut and dried fruit.

Taste:

Robust but velvety. Both dry and sweet. The woody bouquet gives it a velvety opulence. An explosion of taste at the palate, underlined by dark chocolate, dried fruit and a touch of vanilla
