Austrian Whiskey, 43,3%vol


The mash für Brexit Whiskey contains corn, rye, barley, wheat and spelt. So it’s no single malt and more similar to a bourbon. That’s what the name is meant to say – the exit from the classic british or scottish single malt trail.

The spirit is double distilled and matured in oak barrels. The different distillates are aged between 4 and 13 years.
 

Nose:

Slight smokyness, cereal notes with dominating rye. Reminescent of pear and roasted hazelnuts.

Taste:

Sweet at the beginning, milk chocolate and caramel notes, sweet imagination of corn at the palate, later a dark spicyness of fennel seed and black bread

Finish:

peppery
