Blended Malt Scotch Whisky, 40%vol

Ballantine’s Blended Malt 12 Year Old is a complex, richly-flavoured Scotch whisky, with a taste that reflects a deeper, fuller, malt-style character.

The deep, honey-golden colour is derived from over 12 years ov ageing in mostly bourbon barrels. The result is a rich and complex taste with fruity, floral oaky and spicy flavours. The signature malt flavours of Miltonduff and Glenburgie are complemented by many other single malts from the four corners of Scotland, giving the whisky a perfect balance, depth and smoothness.

Colour:

deep honey gold

Nose:

Fresh spring flowers, overlaid by strong sweet pears with a trace of orange zest and a hint of marzipan and almonds

Palate:

Fresh clean smoothness balanced by a soft sweet overlay of orange, cinnamon and ginger

Finish:

Medium length, soft sweet centre in a clean, nutty dryness

Coloured with caramel.
