German Single Malt Whisky, 53,9%vol

The newmake is reduced to 63%vol and then filled into 50% chestnut casks and 50% new Allier Oak casks for 1 year. After this year it is matured in Ex-Bourbon casks and then finished in Ex-Sherry casks. After 5 years it is reduced to 53,9% and highly aromatic.

Non chill filtered.

 

Nose:

Strong sherry notes with the fragrance of flowers and honey

Palate:

Round and malty, fine tones of fruit and sherry

Finish:

Sweet and warm, fruity, long and intense. Distinct taste of sherry and honey with a touch of caramel
