The Longueteau XO old agricultural rum is put is carafes in order to give this rare product all the nobility it deserves. The LONGUETEAU® XO is born from the amazing combination of 8-year-old or “extra old” agricultural rums, aged in oak barrels that previously contained cognac. The setting offered by the carafe allows us to appreciate the nuances of its colour and to discover the aromatic complexity of this exceptional rum. It is enjoyed as a digestive, without ice.

 

Nose:

fruity, it reveals some vanilla and slightly woody notes.

Palate:

the soft attack gives way to subtle notes of cinnamon and vanilla

 


The Longueteau distillery is the only distillery in Guadeloupe 100% self-sufficient in sugar cane that comes only from the plantations of the domain of the marquisat of Sainte-Marie, located at the foot of the Soufrière Massif. The agricultural rum manufactured this way allows us to develop a high quality collection, an award-winner of the Agricultural Contest in Paris for several years. The Longueteau rums are among the most prestigious of the French Antilles.
