Highly anticipated after The Tyrconnell’s successful foray into premium finishes, praise forThe Tyrconnell 16 Year Old has already begun to trickle in. Before it hit a single shelf, Wine Enthusiast awarded it a score of 93, placing it within the ranks of other highly recommended spirits.
While it has become known as a sensational double distilled single malt Irish whiskey, The Tyrconnell has yet to release an aged expression of this magnitude. Due to its age, a limited number of bottles have been produced.

Plenty of fruit, melon, green fruit skins, candied pear, vanilla custard, coconut and creamy oatmeal |
Taste: |
Initially oily and viscous followed by the inevitable fruit explosion coupled with minty evergreen notes, finishing with a dry almond coating |
Finish: |
A very long herbal spice rich finish. Warming and dry with oak tannins prominent following 16 years of maturation. |
